School Outreach

Our environmental education programs are innovative, interactive and grounded in experiential learning theory. We help teach your students about the importance of reducing, reusing, recycling and rethinking waste for a greener future in Newfoundland and Labrador while bringing the environment to life right in your classroom.

Since 2008, MMSB staff have delivered more than 1900 presentations to 176 schools across Newfoundland and Labrador, impacting more than 47,000 students. This year we’re planning to travel to areas of the island we’ve never reached – to visit new schools and meet more of our province’s youth!
