Mount Pearl Green Depot, owned and operated by Scotia Recycling Limited Newfoundland, is part of a province-wide network of Green Depots accepting used beverage containers included in MMSB’s Beverage Container Recycling Program. This depot also accepts paint and electronics. Scotia Recycling will also accept limited amounts of paper and cardboard from residential customers.

Eastern Waste Management – Collection Events

Eastern Waste Management provides disposal services and collection events for household hazardous waste (HHW), such as oil, paint, fluorescent light bulbs, batteries.

Regeneration Paint Recycling

Product Care Association operates Regeneration, an industry-led and government-approved paint recycling program that provides residents and businesses with province-wide drop-off locations and collection events.

Residential Drop-Off – Robin Hood Bay Regional Waste Management Facility

The Robin Hood Bay Regional Waste Management Facility provides residents in the eastern waste management region with free disposal services at the Residential Drop-Off site. Items accepted include: bulk waste, beverage containers (excludes glass), mixed containers, paper, cardboard, electronics, garbage, household hazardous waste (HHW), paint, oil, yard waste scrap metal and MMSB program tires (highway, passenger, light truck and motorcycle tires).
