Household Items

Eastern

Click on the tabs below for reuse, recycling or safe disposal options.

Household items that are still in good condition can be donated to a thrift store or charitable organization.  They can also be sold or given away through classified ads online, in local newspapers and magazines and through online communities. When possible, repair household items before replacing them.  Household items that are no longer useful can be disposed of with your regular garbage.

Common household items include:

  • Small appliances such as toasters and blenders.
  • Dishes, utensils and cookware.
  • Bedding such as duvets and comforters.
  • Linens such as table cloths and curtains.

See Garbage for more disposal options.
