Glass

Northern Labrador

Click on the tabs below for reuse, recycling or safe disposal options.

Glass is a material made from silica, the primary constituent of sand and is used to make items such as mirrors, window panes and food containers. These items should be disposed of with your regular garbage or bulk waste. Broken glass should be secured in a container or box for safe disposal.

Glass beverage containers can be recycled through the Multi-Materials Stewardship Board’s (MMSB) Beverage Container Recycling Program.
