Books that are not in good condition or books that quickly become out-of-date, such as encyclopedias and old text books, can be recycled with paper and cardboard, where programs are available. Most services require covers to be removed.
Corner Brook Green Depot
Corner Brook Green Depot, owned and operated by Scotia Recycling Limited Newfoundland, is part of a province-wide network of Green Depots accepting used beverage containers included in MMSB’s Beverage Container Recycling Program. This depot also accepts paint and electronics. Scotia Recycling will also accept limited amounts of paper and cardboard from residential customers.
