Residents and businesses throughout the province can recycle beverage containers through MMSB’s Beverage Container Recycling Program.
You can return beverage containers to a Green Depot to receive a refund or place them in the blue bag where curbside recycling services are available (excludes glass bottles). View a complete list of accepted containers.
The following beverage containers are NOT accepted in MMSB’s program:
- Refillable beer bottles such as Quidi Vidi, Labatt and Molson are accepted as part of a reuse program operated by local brewers.
- Milk cartons are accepted with mixed containers as part of curbside recycling programs, where available. See Mixed Containers for more information.
